Having a very difficult time in the past day or two. Going through anxiety and symptoms of a burning sensation in my feet since last night that caused me to get little sleep last night, woke up with my heart pounding and started crying. I live alone and have to admit, I've been cooped up inside due to the tons of snow we've received here in New England. I've shoveled and shoveled and then get a break for a day, then another storm. I hurt from fibromyalgia but have no money to hire a person to plow. I only work 3 hours a day so my income is very low which discourages me but with the pain I deal with and anxiety it's hard for me to commit to more hours. I am feeling so alone and discouraged. Really needing some hope right now and something to look forward to....

I hate that you are feeling alone. I feel alone all the time and yet I have a husband. I can only imagine how hard it must be for you. Do you have family that would be willing to help?
Good grief I can't imagine that much snow! It would be so hard shoveling and must make your body flare each time. It would mine.
I hope you can find some hope and peace knowing that despite living alone you are not alone. We're all suffering and feel the same.
I'm praying for you.
Anyway, you wanted some hope and I just wanted you to know you are not alone and I know how scary all those dam symptoms can be. I have been through many flare ups that I thought were so bad and that I would never feel good again (or live through), but the flare ups always cool down. It may take quite awhile, for me severals weeks and months, but things always seem to get back to a tolerable point. Try not to get discouraged. I know it's hard.
Also, I think twinmomab has a great idea to try out a support group in your area. That may be helpful and give you some time to not be alone too. Have a nice day!
That burning sensation in your feet is probably nerve pain. You need to see your doctor about it. Gabapentin is usually prescribed for that particular problem.
Call the city and see if they are aware of or have any no cost programs for people who are chronically ill/disabled to help with shoveling. If you have any church affiliation ask there too. United Way might be able to help as well. There are volunteers out there who may be able to help you with shoveling which is too much to handle given the amount and your health issues. You never know until you ask what might be available.
You are not alone. We all go through ups and downs, and have good and bad days. I'm sure the constant onslaught of bad weather isn't helping.
