Have any of you experienced eye inflammation? I have had an eye ache for the past 5 days. I finally got into my eye doctor today and he examined both eyes and told me they are filled with inflammation.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Eye inflammation can be idiopathic or it can be an indication of an auto immune issue like RA or something else. Your profile says that your doctor suspected auto immune problems when you were diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. You should probably follow up with your rheumy about your eye problem. Take care.

I suffer from eye pain. It started several months ago in my left eye. The eye doctor diagnosed me with shingles of the trigeminal nerve. I have been on steroids and it still hurts like the dickens. Yesterday, my right eye started bothering me. I guess I could describe the pain more as burning with occassional stabbing pains. My family doc thinks this is related to a CNS disorder she believes I have but have not been diagnosed with anything yet.
