So I ended up spending 8 hours at the damn ER, only for everything to come back normal. It was 5 hours before I even saw a doctor, then they did lab work, an EKG and CT scan. They ended up just calling it vertigo. I'm not really convinced but I was so done I just needed to get the hell out of there, plus it was snowing and the roads weren't in good condition. I was in tears. Now it's 2:10 am and I just ate dinner...I would need to be up in 3 hours and at this point I think I'm better off not going to bed at all. I'm still feeling really stressed and the poor dog was in my bedroom all day, so I think I'll just walk her again in a few minutes, then again later this morning. Then I just have to work 11 hours, by the time I realized it was going to take so long it was too late to ask someone to cover even part of my shift...I'm going to try to get Miki into daycare if they have a slot, they open at 7. She deserves better than staying home all day again. I'm not doing well mentally, I have no way to prevent another episode and I know the next couple days are going to be hellish.

Pierre did not win a lot of friends. When the war ended, quite quickly he was tried...

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

Our ER doc was blunt and she just looked at us and said that they only rule out the bad stuff, but can not sit and figure out what it all going on that was causing my hubby's racing heart and dizzy spells and chest pain. We're still trying to figure out what in the heck happened.
I've heard vertigo can scare the crap out of you. And to be honest with you, it was the biggest symptom that drove me into the docs office when I got my first Fibro dx. I thought something was seriously wrong, and I felt like I was dying.
I hope today goes well for you. May all of our prayers lift you through this day.
