Well, it's the day we've all been waiting for, even if we're just waiting for it to be over.
First and foremost, we all have strong opinions, but please keep it respectful. There's already too much vitriol surrounding this election, let's keep DS a safe space from that.
Second, if you haven't already (in the US), please vote today. And if you do vite in person, show some kindness to the election workers. This election has been filled with rhetoric that leaves the door open for possible violence, and many places have had to step up security with increased police presence, or even the national guard. This shouldn't have to happen but unfortunately it's reality, and it has people who are working the polls fearing for their safety

So basically, whichever candidate you support, just be kind. Don't fall victim to conspiracy theories (the rumors of widespread fraud are just that: rumors...neither candidate has access to the ballots or the process of counting/verifying them, and therefore no proof whatsoever of anything illegal happening), and don't disparage anyone for their political views. Unfortunately, this probably won't be over tonight because of the amount of absentee ballots and early voting, so I'm just hoping that we getting through this unscathed.
I'm also hoping I can avoid my dad for the next couple days...today I have a decent chance, tomorrow not so much. In 2020, he called me on my way to drop off Miki and ranted until I hung up on him, then continued his tirade when I got there. He literally stood behind my car yelling over me asking him to move. And it made absolutely no difference because I'd already voted. But that kind of aggressive behavior is a trigger for me, so I'm really hoping I can avoid it this week. I'm bringing my patriotic little friend to work (yes, with the bandana) for his arthritis injection and moral support, because it's hard to be too upset when this little face is yelling at me for attention

Got my flu shot yesterday. Pretty tired from it but I’m feeling OK otherwise.

I agree about the election. Only 3 people know my views and even though matt knows my views i different not discuss who I voted for 2 weeks ago. I have to do absentee there's no way I can stand at the polls. Matt is down coming now he just got off work. Too many relationships and friends are ruined due to not being able to accept difference if opinion.

Matt has his physical today and I normally go with but my left hip is so bad laying sitting standing are all torture today. Weather's making it worse.
I sm bruising for no reason in odd areas even palm of my hands. I get labs next time I'm in town to check clotting and may have to after 9 years go back to hamatology/oncology very nervous
Well good news is I have a house share I am moving to Friday so I can stay in one place for a while until I go to Missouri for holidays. I need REST!!!

Aj, my hips kill me too. I have trochanerous (sp?) bursitis from lifting 45 lbs wine cases. I just got steroid injection s and they're still holding. At least I can sleep now.
I have round two of steroids, sinus infection due to moldy crappy airbnb. I'm currently in a la Quinta hotel with both big screen tv's on from suite. I'm obsessed. Need life.
