Has anyone else experienced this?
I really started to notice this in November, the need to cough (like a tickle, need to clear your throat) - dry cough, not like have a cold. The urge to cough really got bad in December and is still lingering, but not as bad. It seems to come and go with intensity, changes with activity, but it can also get agitated when I am not doing much, if it was flaired up quit a bit from day prior. Rest/taking it easy seems to help but has yet to go away. I do have very tight muscles all over in my back, neck, shoulders, ribs, clavical, I think you get it, I have numerous bad trigger points/ropey bands/knotts. I noticed if certain accupressure points or trigger points are pressed, the cough calms or stops for a little while.
I'm wondering if this sounds like costochrondritis? I do easily overuse my body (arms specifically) at times and it causes flair ups in my fibromyalgia -myofascial pain syndrome. (I have doctors conflicting if its fibromyalgia or MPS, one said one thing and another said opposite)... what can be done about this? I've tried numerous modalities in the past but I've never had this specific issue, prefer to not try multiple providers and directly start at whom would be more beneficial to see and directly start at whom would be more beneficial to see.
Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

I recommend that you purchase the book "Fibromyalgia for Dummies" which is available on Amazon. It is a very good reference to have on hand. I'd start with whoever you do see about your Fibro/MPS. As for the cough, it could be allergies or that your house is too dry and needs more humidity. For that starts with your PCP.
Good luck and take care.,
