Hi guys. Since I am moving, I need to find a PCP. I looked through a bunch of doctors online, and found an osteopath who is a family practitioner. They had a video of him, and by the end of the video he was practically had tears in eyes about how much his patients mean to him. I have never seen anything like it. What I'm asking...if you have ever had an osteopathic doctor, how did you like him/her. I made an appointment with him for April 17th. Thanks

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. I'm in a similar situation. Two PCPs have been recommended to me, a Nurse Practitioner and a DO. But I'm pretty complicated with autoimmune issues, and I'm not sure it is the best idea. I've been telling myself, if I don't like them I can leave. Unfortunately, I don't leave even when the writing is on the wall, which leaves me in a worse situation.
Good luck with everything you have going on, Ida.
Ida - I think that you would be very pleased with your care.
Fantod, you have really helped me think I've made a good decision. I'm so glad you have had good results with your DOs.
Again, there are good and bad doctors in every practice. The onus is on you, the consumer, to do your homework and ask questions to make sure that you and the doctor are ion the same page. And, if your treatment regimen is lacking, you fire them and move on.
Best of luck!
