just wandering...
i saw my primary care today for a follow up... she pointed out to me her concern that i have been having a fast heart beat (over 100 beats per min) over the last several months and it's not coming down. this heart rate is at sitting, not walking or moving. i told her that i've been feeling crapier than usual (more muscle pain, more tired, and harder to sleep).
she started running some tests on my thyroid. it came back normal. she is now referring me to a cardiologist. but as i got home, i sat here wandering if any of the meds or supplements may be causing this rapid heart rate (tachycardia). my asthma meds is the only one but the doc and i have ruled that out as NOT contributing to the tachycardia.
she wanted to start me on heart meds today to slow it down but i told her i think i should wait till i see the cardiologist. i'm 27 and i really don't like the idea of being on heart meds. crap. what else will they dx me with? having fibro is bad enough!!
so everyone here, please tell me if you may have rapid heart rate issues.
what is it from?
what meds are you on that is causing it?
or is it just another fibro thing?

about the thyroid test, i'm not sure if she did all of them or just the one. she probably told me but i can't remember.
and about the kidney infections, i have had so many of those (but only in my L kidney), the doc gave me a supply of antibiotics to keep at home for whenever i need them. but i've had that problem for a few years now. they ran tests for lupus but ruled it out.
as far as anxiety goes, i'm pretty sure it's hard to have an anxiety attack that lasts for months on end. as i have mentioned before that it's not in bursts or sudden.
someone mentioned nuerontin... hmm... i will check into that since i am on it.
and yes, i am sensitive to many things, light, noise, contrast, smells, things touching me, etc.
but before my doc pumps any more meds into me, i will definitely see the cardiologist first. this is just another freakin thing i need on top of the migraines, ringing ears, muscle pain, arthritis, ddd, plantar faceitus, asthma, ibs, kidney infections, and whatever else i forgot to mention!! uuuugh...
