I've only been taking Cymbalta for eight days, but I have seen an improvement. I seem to have more energy and the pain is a little less severe. I was already taking the supplements you suggested. The one drawback is it has given me a little bit of anxiety. I am going to continue taking the Cymbalta in the hope that it will ease up. By the way how are you doing? Hope you continue to improve.

So now we know what kind of side effects Cymbalta has on you at the beginning--anxiety. Well, it's also used as a treatment for general anxiety disorder, so I'll bet you're feeling better on that front by now, yes?
I hate to say it, but I had to stop taking the cymbalta. The anxiety was just too much. I am really dissapointed, but I have a hard time taking any type of prescription drugs. Glad it is helping you. I guess I'll have to wait and hope something else comes along that may help. Thanks for all your help.l.
I hope you are going off cymbalta gradually. I have been using half of the capsule now every day and plan to do it everyother day and so on. Sorry you had such a hard time.
However, SSRI's work well for me. Maybe you could try something else.

What kind of SSRI's are you taking?
The serotonin helps me with sleep, mood, and pain. Elavil is another one that I've heard is helpful for fibro. It's taken at night, because it's very sedating.
Good luck finding something to help.
