You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.

For those out there who also have costochondrotis, I have a question on your clothing abilities. I still have not been able to return to underwire bras and am wondering if i wull be able to at all or if i meed to jist invest in decent nowire bras and call it a day since I have the fibro too. Being a 36g does not make the bra scene an easy or cheap one so I don't want to buy decent bras if I'll be able to return to my regular underside.
Advice and comments greatly appreciated!

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

With fibro, there is no way I would wear an underwire. (and I've tried one on) They hurt. But I'm not one who needs all that support. Only you know what you are comfortable with.
I probably wasn't much help.
Finding a good bra these days is hard. One that is supportive enough to cover all my assets, but not gauge into my Costocrapola pain.
So I often barter my time in and out of them throughout the day. I have flimsy "sleep bras" for around the house. And I have my "hoisters" for when I head out. Then I do, yes, I do have some underwire ones for when I have a special night out (thankfully that only happens once every 2-3 yrs) and I just endure the pain.
I've learned that I can't do racer back or criscross style one and that pain from the straps over my shoulder line next to my neck is horrible. I look like I have a gorilla on my back just trying to walk through the grocery isle at the store. Sadly I've become used to the looks people give me.
But I have found that my Cacique T-shirt bras are the best. The offer the full coverage and decent support. The padding actually helps as it's lightly padded around around the sides. More of a structure thing. And on the days when the CostoCrapola is at it's worst and I have no choice but to wear a bra, taking some advil seems to help.
I wish it were easier. But I call this my fibro / CostoCrapola bra collection.
I don't think any of us love wearing a bra regardless of our dimensions. They are ridiculously expensive especially for the larger sizes. I have a collection which I wear based on current level of discomfort. Good luck with your search.
Wonder thank you for the recommendation. I will see if there is a store near me. I think Fantod is correct that I need to go to s store and get resized after all the weight changes I've had.
Bball do you know is any supportice sports bras that also don't push on those shoulder fibro points? That is usually my problem. All the weight on those points.
