88FIn 1969 we decided to get married without a big wedding. Most of our friends and family liked large over the top for the time kind of weddings and I did not. First, I didn't see why spending so much money for one day when we have the rest of our lives to live. I have never regretted not having a big formal wedding. When I have a lot of sinus congestion, I go with the tried and tested Vicks Vaporub a lot. Thickly on my chest when I'm going to bed. My partner is very sensitive to having clogged sinuses and not being able to sleep, so she also puts some just below her nose to stay clear throughout the night.
From Vicks and other brands, there are also dissolvable capsules that you can put in hot water to steam yourself. Very hot water, one of the capsules or a tea spoon of the regular Vaporub into the water, then lean over it for deep breathing while covering your head with a towel to entrap the vapours. Very hot and you get a sweaty face, but it can make a difference in congestion. If you have a tub: a hot bath with eucalyptus bath salts can really help clear congestion.
Getting a good night's sleep is very tricky when dealing with a bout of being under the weather. Try not to nap too much, perhaps, especially in the latter half of the day.
A big fruit basket for you and I hope you'll feel better very soon!
Healing to you:-)
Feel better!
That said, my hubby swears a local restaurant's curry cures him, but I think it just makes his sinuses clear!
