I found this regarding showing up in a blood/drug test, and found it illuminating:

Hope it's helpful!
Essentially it does the same for me but in a different way. The stress and tension caused by the pain gives me cognitive fatigue. Once that is gone I am more alert and energetic during the day. I'm not sure why it causes me to be restless at night, but I've just noticed that my sleep is more interrupted so I avoid it at night.
There are no withdrawal symptoms. The effects just gradually wear off. I notice that the pain is slowly coming back in the afternoon when it's time for a second dose.
I haven't had to take a drug test for my job so I don't have to worry about that. I have informed my boss that I have Fibromyalgia and I take CBD oil so if it were to become an issue I might have grounds for a lawsuit for discrimination.
I perform my job in the same capacity I have for the last two years so I don't think it will ever be an issue.
I ordered the MedTerra CBD Cooling Cream in 250 mg. This has no THC.
Upon using it on my neck and lower back, I felt a decrease in pain the next day--significant decrease of about 50%. This also helped me sleep better.
I have been using it every night before bed for about 1 week. However, I have been getting progressively more fatigued--to the point of been useless. I don't know if this is related to the cbd. But I stopped last night.
I need to see the doctor now to see if anything else is going on. I'm afraid to tell him about the cbd for fear that it'd get into my med records. Not sure what to do...
Has anyone heard of cbd leading to fatigue??
I saw on the Mayo Clinic website that some of the side effects of cbd is fatigue and loss in appetite.
I saw my doctor. He gave me a physical exam and tests show normal.
I was pleasantly surprised that he did not discourage me from using the cbd cream since it does help my pain significantly. He said to stop for one week, let the cbd out of my system, then slowly introduce it again.
So I did. I'm using it only 2-3 times a week without the side effects. Pain relief is almost immediate.
