Have you tried soaking in a tub of warm water ? Laying on a heating pad? How often do you take the Percocet and Flexeril ? Depending on how often you take it. You might need to talk with your doctor about increasing how often you take it

Can't get out of a tub if I get in one plus only have a shower. Using a heating pad and massager plus heated throw. Fleceril twice a day and oxy can be every 6 hours pen. She will not increase them oh plus on lyrics. I need spinal stenosis surgery but losing weight first surgeons orders

I just went to my breaking point yesterday. Being at a 9/10 on the pain scale for days on end, made me near crazy. And my orthopedic surgeon didn’t care and said I could just make it until the 5th for my new doctor. I’m sorry I’m talking about myself when you are suffering so much. I finally sent a message to my regular doctor that I had no where to turn and I was in agony and torture. He helped me. I don’t know where to tell you to go or call or whatever, but I can tell you I was there this week and it is horrible and unbearable and you are not alone. My heart breaks for you tonight. I will be praying for you all evening. If you can think of any doctor who might give you help, give that office a call. I refused to go to the ER as well. Isn’t that shameful that we have to feel that way about the ER right now.? It used to be a place for help. God comfort you.

Jesus, I know that when you walked on the earth, you trod upon hard places, you felt the strain of this world and the pressures of mental torment. So I ask that you would come besides Angelajo now, lead her through this time where her mind cannot cope. Help her to find peace and calming inner thoughts. You hold her safe Lord, I trust you will Amen. May life and wellness grow in fullness until it overflows in your life.

It is hard i know i get that way sometimes but i think about what Jesus went through and i cannot compare. We are here to support one another, praise God we are not alone. I have a chronic pain illness which the pain never leaves its just some days are better than others so hang in there. I say crying is good for the soul so i talk, cry, pray, and praise to the Father, also music helps smooths the mind so do reading plus moving around doing things.I refuse to give up even though i want to but i won`t. I have to have faith because that is all left to believe in is God the father.

Ida i know you understand the back pain on top of the fibro and other chronic pain!!!!! I am so sorry you suffer so much too! I cant get ahold of any Dr of mine until monday because of the holiday :( . They took a 3 day weekend the Dr that would try to help. I am up now at almost midnight because i cant sleep more than one to two hours without my hips and back screaming at me... I hate covid even more because it stops us from getting the relief and help we need from this pain some days!!!!!!!!

LadyDiva i have been in chronic pain since i was 9 i have many chronic pain issues 24/7 that never stop hurting but right now its worse than normal. I do talk to God and pray but also i let God guide the Drs in helping. I just need the pain to ease up so i can even think straight.

Angela, my pain woke me up for my next dose, so I thought I would check up on you and see if you have gotten any relief at all. It’s 1:30am right now. I have to wait for my meds to kick in, so I think it will be awhile before I go back to sleep. I’ll keep checking back here. Sorry I forgot about the holiday and the doctor thing.

Ida thank you for checking up on me, my pain is not easing up i ended up in my recliner for the night, i wish so bad i could sleep in bed! But just not happening, i wish i could sleep period i was up till after 3. then kept waking up.

AngelaJo - I am sorry that you continue to be in so much pain. Sending support and hoping that something lets up and gives you a break!

If you are taking Percocet every 6 hours. You can take 2 Regular Strength Tylenol (325 mg). every 6 hours with it. It might help. You can take up to 1,000 mg of Tylenol every 6 hours not to exceed 4,000 mg in a 24 hour period. Percocet has 325 mg Tylenol in each tablet

I take Percocet 10 mg. My pain management doctor said I could add the Tylenol I mentioned above. Tylenol alone does not help. But sometimes taking it with the Percocet helps some. . According to the manufacturer of Percocet. Percocet can be taken as frequently as every 4 hours. So we have a few hours between doses with little to no help. Hope you feel better soon.

I know what you mean about the bathtub. I need spine surgery, hip replacement and total knee replacement and have for quite some time. So I cannot get in a bathtub. I take hot showers. But they are of little to no help compared to hot baths.
