Does anyone else out there feel like they have the flu??? Yes, i am joking, but do wonder if fibro flares when the immune system gets going. My son and I both feel like we are getting a cold--but for me it is ramped up with body pain and post-gardening pain which seems to have resulted in a strange upper back/chest muscular pain which makes breathing deeply a bit painful. Throw in a touch of IBS and a lot of fatigue, and I feel like I have the flu. Anyone else experience this?

I get similar symptoms from time to time. Before I knew I had fibro I was in a spinal rehab program where they pushed you pretty hard. After all kinds of excercising I'd hurt like heck and feel sick to my stomach. I thought hmmmm so this is what that work-out high is all about! Maybe thats why I didn't work out for so many years. :-) I hope you feel better soon.

I asked the doctor about seeing someone regarding my immune system, but when my blood work comes back "normal", they don't see a need for it.
I hope you feel better soon.
One of my "funny" ironic fibro stories was telling someone at a party, who asked "how does it feel?" that it feels like having the flu, and she said "So...how would you know which you have?" Yikes. I think I see somebody I know over there - bye!
I know it's flu when Hubby has it. If it's just me, it's probably fibro!
Yeah, it's awful stuff.
