fibro at this point is wearing me out..dealing with a massive bladder problem..the pain and the urge to go is getting out of hand..even coughing gets the bowels to open up..even a trip to the shopping centers you need to know where the loo"s are.i have resorted at times to use a pull up.that all to me seems a little degrading.but then i think what can i do...i suffer bad from c.f.s..on waking in the morning i feel so done..sometimes i think if there was a jetty outside the front door i would just keep walking..after been so active..working 55hrs a week i gave it away last year..the body said no more..not on any meds as i am waiting for the hospital..any sure fire over the counter meds that will help any of this..need a little help and some answers..thanks all

So there's a Bigfoot festival going on soon and Hubby is soooo enthused.I've spent so much of my life outdoors. I'm 99% sure their whoops and thumps and such are probably people up to no good tryihng to scare other folisk outta the woods without getting in trouble. Why do I say that? There's moonshiners in my DNA. And people who've lived in the forests since before white folks. If something was out...

Fun facts to up your day:The Big Bang wasn't IN space... it was OF space. How does that happen? Well, now you know why I'm NOT a physicist. Cuz I dunno. It just happened. Thena gain a new hypothesis is that our "black energy/matter" is actually waste dumped in our universe from somewhere else's black holes. How and all that? Don't ask. You start getting all "The Matrix" and muttering...

So sorry you are suffering so much. I too have i.b.s. and bladder issues. Actually, I was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis last year and have been treated. I used to get up 20 times a night literally....it was awful. When ibs is bad, so is i.c.
What you need to know: i.c. and i.b.s. go together and are often co-existing conditions with fibromyalgia. Make sure you tell the doctors exactly what is going on and tell the "uninformed" that ibs and i.c. are commonalities, so please do an ultrasound on your bladder. They can at least see if you have any cysts on your bladder. I was put out and had cytoscopy done to look inside the bladder to find hunner's lesions. I am 49 years old but my body is like an 80 year old. I have aged a lot due to stress. Good on you for taking time out to take care of yourself.
Make sure you get proper medical attention. There are plenty of over the counter bladder solutions. I am sorry I have not tried them as I get a bladder distention to calme down the bladder every year and it solves most of my problems. However, right now after a bad flare, if I am not 1 minute from bathroom, well, oopsy...so yea, super frustrating. I had a huge bout of ibs-d over the holidays. I used pepto and immodium until I could get to doctor and then dulcolax for the wild swing the other way with constipation. I am now on xifaxan with extra amounts of probiotics which you will need for ibs. Read up on the ones that are best....some good ones that are inexpensive like nature's bounty. It resolved my gut issues after several weeks.
I wish you good luck and I literally, "feel for you" sister!!!
Take care, JP
p.s. I used to be super active too, sailing, hiking every weekend, playing golf a while back. I am going to physical therapy to try to resume some of these :)
I'm sorry that this is distressing you so much. Feel better and take care.
