Hi to all. I am considering purchasing a biomat or getting a fischer wallace stimulator to help with my sleep issues. I have pretty good control over my fibro pain and stiffness, but have extreme difficulty getting deep sleep due to alpha eeg sleep anomaly. I was wondering if anyone has tried any of these devices. The biomat was recommended by my integrative medical doctor. I found one on amazon that seems to be priced decently.
I read about the fischer wallace stimulator on line and it is recommeded for pain, anxiety, depression, and sleep disturbances. I am at my wits end from not getting refreshing sleep and I'm hoping that one of these work. Thanks for your input.

I'm alive, I'm sleeping like a rock, and for some reason I wanted cherry juice so that seems to be helping. (??? Weirdo that I am.)***Infamous therapies over history:1. The Attic. The madwoman in the attic is a motif in literature going waaaaaay back: the nutty female relative is locked in the attic. I have wondered about the fischer wallace stimulator myself. Hopefully someone here has some experience, I would love to hear about it.

Fantod- Thanks for your quick response.
SpaceGirl my last sleep study showed the alpha intrusions as well. The sleep doctor wasn't really helpful either. He just said my sleep study confirmed that I have fibromyalgia and offered gabbapentin, which I refused.
Thanks for the article JP. I have heard that the xyrem works wonders for the alpha eeg intrusions, but it's very expensive and difficult to get for any condition other than epilepsy. I read an article last year stating that they were trying to get it approved for fibromyalgia again.
I started using just a simple peace of fleece spread under me over my sheet at night. Won't trap in too much heat and warms my cold legs up to normal. Seems to be just enough to relax me more than normal and I sleep better. I can't have too may covers over me, too heavy, and I got cotton woven ones to allow better heat circulation and not get overheated and sweaty. Kind of like how cats sleep on top of quilts, just toasty enough to make them turn to jello!! Let us know if you get one....
