Bee sting...

Hi all,


Anyone ever had localized pain that feels almost like an intense bee sting followed by a severe burn? Today while in the car I really thought I was being stung by a bee and when I pulled up my pant leg there was nothing there, then it turned into a burning feeling that hurt to the touch like a real burn but the skin was totally normal. A few minutes later it was gone but it happened a few more times in different places over the course of the next 15 minutes or so. Has anyone felt something like this before???

good morning, i get this feeling alot feels like in being shocked from the inside , then alittle while later it happens again somewhere else not sure what cause it. how you find whats causing it have a blessed, and stress rfree day, hugs

Sounds like nerve pain. Some of us get "zaps" like that. It is very unpleasant to say the least. Medication such as gabapentin may be helpful. Take care.

Yes, this is common. And we have nick named them "bee stings" lol

I get those on my chest/breasts , luckily not very often.

Bluesky...I know you know what I mean if you already call them bee stings and I am sorry you guys get them but it is nice to know I am not going insane. Thanks girls for the support. My pain has never been anywhere near this and so I in that state of mind where I feel like I am going crazy...gone crazy??? xo

    Well..my thyroid might be a problem. I have a high TSH but normal T4. TSH increases when your thyroid isn't producing enough thyroid hormones...if only the TSH is high, it could be early or subclinical. Will wait and see if they want to do anything about that or just recheck it at some point. Either it'll even out or my T4 will drop. Meanwhile it's hot and I'm working with Karen, and I have no...
