I think people pick out avatars they like so that would tell me alot about a person. Certainly a person wouldn't put a cat, dog, or such if they didn't like them. Right? You can tell if a person has a sense of humor sometimes, also.

This is a tough question. I am thinking about it for the first time and I think you may be on to something. If an avatar looks like it is being judgemental, then I may read that post as judgemental. If it is a funny or cute avatar I may read their messege with a light frame of mind. If it is a bland avatar, I may not be drawn to look at it at all. The expression on a photo may mean something also.

I think that I judge more by the words people use, and how they type them. hmmmmmmmm interesting....I will have to pay more attention to how I react to avatars.

I do - it tells something about a person - but so many people change theirs often that I don't use it as the only way to judge them.

I too change, when I am fed up with one avatar I will go and find another one. Mostly I choose ones that either make me laugh or makes me go phwar! or even makes me go awwww init sweet..

I change mine every so ofetn, but the ones that change theirs dailt, drive me crazy, personally, LOL! I have to look at the name to be sure who I am responding to!
