Hi all

Ive Started taking an aloe vera tablet called colon cleanse all naturalHerbal Blend 330mg
which contains:
Aloe Vera Gel
Buckthorn
Dandelion
Fennel
Gentian
Horehound
Liquorice (
Rhubarb (
Question is first day felt fine but today feel awful with pain increase and headache, generally feeling rubbish
Do you think it's possible that such a natural supplement could affect me or is it just coincidence and something else

Thanks in advance I know so you are a very up together on this stuff

I know nothing about these elements you have been taking, but I can say that just because a supplement claims certain things doesn't make it true. There is not the oversight of these supplements that there are with pharmaceuticals. (Not that all of those are without side effects). I do think you would be well-advised to end taking these supplements you've been taking.

Your might might tell you that they couldn't have such a fast reaction in your body, but I've had several mediations that caused awful side effects after only one dose.

Why did you feel a need for a colon cleanse? Are you having digestive tract issues? There is a condition that is commonly co-morbid with fibromyaliga, called Irritable Bowel Syndrome, which causes alternating diarrhea and constipation. Many of us have this condition. You should check with your doctor if you have having GI symptoms. Good luck

I am not certain about this, but what I do know is that whenever I have taken something to clean out my colon, I generally feel worse before I feel better.

Are you taking a probiotic too? Sometimes candida yeast die off has the pain and headache associated with it.

Just my two cents.

Could be the liquorice causing the problem. But, I think these sorts of things are really not necessary. Take a good probiotic and leave well enough alone. If you are having GI issuers and have not seen a doctor for it, follow up with one. Take care.
