Would you continue taking a new antidepressant that seems to be helping you with mood, and almost nothing historically has ever helped and then, after a week into it, it appears to be causing pretty bad nausea? Reviews on it on drugs.com say if you can push through the nausea for a few weeks it usually goes away. A number of others on that board stopped taking it because of nausea. I wonder if they had pushed through, if they would have improved, although nausea is so horrible, I don't blame them for stopping.
To you medical people out there, what is your body saying to you when a Med causes nausea? It seems logical it is saying "poisonous, stop now!"
Yes, this is the trintellix that I posted about a week or so ago. I got some really good advice from many of you against trying it but decided to give it a try anyway since my new dr was so positive about it and the nausea I have been experiencing prior to this Med was beginning to wane. I really want my new doctor to see me as trying his ideas so he doesn't write me off before he gets to know me
I hope the ones of you supporting the idea I shouldn't have tried it understand. Your opinions were definitely helpful but for reasons mentioned above, this time I chose to gamble. And it does appear to be helping mood, something is. But this morning, day 8 or so, I have been wondering off and on if I am going to vomit.
Not sure what to do. If I take a tums, I get 20 minutes relief or so.
As always your thoughts are appreciated.

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

Well..my thyroid might be a problem. I have a high TSH but normal T4. TSH increases when your thyroid isn't producing enough thyroid hormones...if only the TSH is high, it could be early or subclinical. Will wait and see if they want to do anything about that or just recheck it at some point. Either it'll even out or my T4 will drop. Meanwhile it's hot and I'm working with Karen, and I have no...

Sorry that this med is giving you problems and working too. I hope that you can hang in there. Sending good thoughts your way.
What percentage of people in the clinical drug studies (see side effect on drugs.com) had nausea? If it's up to ten percent, that might make me quit the anti-depressant.
Good luck!
Can you take the med at a different time of day? When does the nausea hit and how long does it last? Ask the pharmacist about nausea and the antibiotics+antidepressant combo.
I'm not currently on a antibiotic, that is in the past at this point.
Another thing I should mention is he had me stop baclofen 10 mg twice a day. Maybe there is a side effect of nausea coming off of that. I just thought of that.
Not sure what you mean about Door County or even the fibro check in...
