I was wondering if you were doing okay when you announced your hiatus from DS. I'm sorry to hear things are going so poorly for you. Pain that bad really can drain away any excitement to do things.

Here's hoping that you somehow manage to get some rest, and that the house will be great enough to distract you from your pain for a while.

Can you buy a recliner to have for when you're at her house? Maybe a bit expensive, but if you spend much money on gas, driving, even eating out...you can probably squeeze a bit of money that you could put towards it. Most of the time, money can't "buy" happiness, but there are a few times when it can really help.

Thanks so much for your responses. Unfortunately my daughter has a very small cape cod home, and there would be no place for a recliner. Also, she thinks they are ugly. *smh*

Been there with the pain and lack of sleep. It just sucks the joy out of you. Hopefully, it will be of short duration, and things will improve when you are in your own element.

I'm glad you are back, but not because you are in so much pain. Praying things let up soon. I hope you enjoy the house and have a safe trip back home. Do you have any Tramadol with you? You can cry on my shoulder anytime.

ida, I'm glad you're back, but sorry it's b/c of how high the pain is. We just can't live normal lives, no matter how bad our partners want us to, and no matter how bad we want to. Life is exhausting and painful for us, and only we get it. I have been worried about you and praying since you announced your break. I knew it was the stress buildup of work that needed to be done. We are always here for you. I'm praying for your anxiety and pain.

Sorry you are in so much pain, I know I live and sleep in my recliner so I really feel for you. I hope today is going better for you. One time I was at a beach cottage and they didn't have a recliner so I fixed up the chase lawn it was better than the bed and couch. It sort of worked in a pinch. Sending prayers your way

My daughter took one look at me this morning and said, what is wrong? I told her how terrible of a night I had and she felt bad for me. Tonight we are going to try the living room couch because it's an L shape. I can sit in the corner.

I don't remember the last time I was in that much pain. And again I forgot the Tramadol at home. I only have about 7 of those left.

Anyway, you guys are all the best. After I'm done with my coffee I will take a look at check in and other threads. Love ya!
