My husband is not going through the same thing but I would suggest talking to her if you haven't already explaining to her how it is hurting you and your marriage. Even going together to someone who specalizes in FAS that could help explain to her about what is going on. I am sorry I am not much help but I kinda know what she is going through since I have FAS and would like to go out an dhave sex a lot but I don't. Good luck hope this helped a little.

My heart goes out to you. I can only imagine how difficult that is for you. You are very strong and patient. My suggestion would be to go to couples therapy. See if there are needs she is experiencing that can be satisfied in another way. As a mother of an FAS daughter I see the hypersexuality. I am also curious if she has another diagnosis as that would alter her behavior and thinking further. FAS is a coocurring disorder in most cases. Talking with her may help, depending on her level of cognitive thinking skills. I know many adult FAS that still can not reason, or understand first then or action consequence. If that is the case it will be a little more challenging.

I am sorry you are going through that. I have been engaged to a male for a year and a half now and am dealing with that same issue. I have found e-mails, porn photos, videos, girls numbers, photos and so on on his phone time after time. I have also been witness to his jerking off repeated times a day. We haven't had sex in over 3 wks, i believe its because he is masturbating most days, many times a day. I have never caught him cheating but am waiting for the moment when it happens and what and how i will react to it. Have you found anything to help? My fiance won't talk about his fas let alone talk to me about what to have for dinner. I am looking for help as well.

My Wife has FAS, and from what I have learned about people with FAS over our 10 year relationship is this.... They are regular people with regular needs, sexual desires, etc.

So, FAS is not responsible for her sexual promiscuity, and it may be something related to your relationship.
Have you talked to her about this?
Have you two tried to get marriage counseling or regular counseling?
Have you tried spicing up your sex life?

Communication is the key if you want it to work.

Hi I have been having the same problem. My husband is constantly chatting with other women and I have been told on numerous occasions that he has tried to be with other women. It's very hard and probably one of the hardest things about being married to someone with FAS. I am so sorry you have to go through this. I first dealt with it by ignoring it, but have progressed to going through his emails and facebook to head off any possible extra marital relationships he might be trying to start. Both ways I have gone about it is unhealthy and I know that but so is what he is doing so I guess I rationalize it that way. I suggest sitting with her and talking about it. I have done this and it didn't stop the activity but it did show him that he is not fooling anyone. Just remember its a day to day battle for them just like it is for us. I guess I don't have a solution for you but to offer you support. But sitting down with her I believe is a good step.
