✋same here. Sometimes I wonder about time machines and the reason for why my life is like that

It sure would be nice if we could go back to the innocence of childhood.

It's hard because now I have two young girls that of course I want to wrap in bubble wrap and protect them from the world.... But at the same time I don't want them to be like me, and shocked to find out what life's really like.... It's a hard balance...

Big hug for you Thumpa.... I would like to change some things for sure... Childhood isn't a place that I'd like to revisit though.... I think preparation for life is the best gift you can give your children... Unfortunately disappointment and hurt can be part of that.... Loving themselves I think is key to doing well in the world

It's so hard to know if your doing a good job for your kids until sometimes it's too late, but like you said, as long as your loving them unconditionally they will know u are doing your best....

I do wish that sometimes. I feel like sometimes as you get older life has a way of sucking out the hope you have. I liked being younger and having a certain level of ignorance to the world and people.

Omg I so want to go back in childhood. I realised now when I am 16 that was the most beautiful time of my life ( I know its maybe early to say but it is). With all this problems and depression I have been going trought, I just want to go back in that time when my only worry was will it be sunny today so I can go outside and play. Being a child is the best thing a human beign can be. Now I am sorry I didn't appreciate that when I was a kid, I just wanted to grow up. But now I dont't want anything more than be a child forever

I look back on my childhood as being free, sitting in the room enjoying music until I fall asleep. I was more relaxed until problems of that time arose. But because of the problems we had to face in those times I wonder about that....Honestly being an adult is so crucial at times. you are right, when you are a child, all you want to do is grow up and make your own decisions but now you are an adult, you want to return back to the world and people you used to know. Sadly to say that most of the people I used to know is dead and gone if they are still here, they are old and depressed. I don't have any kids but I would not want any during this day and age because of how the world is and the fact that it seems like nothing is going right in it anyways.

I think about that almost every time i talk to my dead beat.. i wish i still had the thought in my head that he was a good person.
