I just wanted to express from the bottom of my heart my deepest thanks. Its official i am off the list. I got notification today that I am no longer on the list. Even with the scare close to the end they chose not to violate me and allowed me to get off the list. Thanks for all the wealth of knowledge everyone has contributed to me and the other members. I will still be around and active on this board as this board has been such an instrumental part of my life as I hope it will continue to be.

Josh,

I am so very happy for you that you have been removed and can now get your life back. I hope you still come around just to let us know how you are doing and can impart some of your wisdom to all of us.

Your story is so important because it give others hope that someday they, too, may be lifted from this burden of the registry.

God bless you, Josh, and get on with your life.

Thanks Rew my dear friend. I am thinking about going into prison ministry or something along those lines. idk what god is going to do with me but i know he has a plan

it is truly encouraging news to hear every time someone is set free. Someday the rest of us will catch up with you. I do ministry work at the USDB. My partner is an ex-con. I know we make a difference. If that's what you're interested in, go for it!

Thanks everyone. The sargent that came to investigate my "violation" said after I handed him the order for removal with the judges signature that he has never in the 15 years that he had been doing primary sex offender work seen someone get off the registry. Looks like he seen something new

And I bet you were just proud as a peacock and smiling from ear to ear when you handed him that order!!

Hell, I have mine framed right along with my college degrees. I think the registry game me a degree in life and how it feels to be disenfranchised and made me a better person.

I was still scared as f@ck because i didn't know if the state had recieved it yet and had taken me off the list. He said that even if the state didn't he still wasn't going to violate me for being that close to getting off. He seems like a fair guy. You don't find that much in police officers now a days.
