Sorry guys! A lot has been going on lately. Right now we are at a standstill. We went to a different lawyer today who said he would take the case but he needs $1000 down, which we don't have. Alex has been sick since he has been over there. He's been to the doctor 2 times and can't get over it. We get him on Sundays and try to get him on my other day off but they keep comin up with excuses after telling us we can have him. This past Sunday when we got home with him and changed his diaper he had a rash so bad that had blisters on it. You could tell he hurts. He is happy, smiling, and laughing when we have him and when we take him back he has an expressionless look on his face as soon as he gets in their arms. Right now we don't know what to do.

thats bullshit i'm calling child abuse and neglect no way in hell should he have a rash that bad if you get a lawyer make sure he knows of this and record any and all sorts of injury that you see on him this is outrageous they abuse kids and cover it up fight these bastards on it and next time you go to court point it out as well

I agree with Nathan. I would also take him to see a doctor to get document the injuries. On a another note, is there any family or friend that would be willing to loan you the money, or try to find an attorney that will work pro bono for cases against CPS? Please keep us posted.

The problem is finding a lawyer who is not going to charge out the ass and one who is not afraid to take the case! The judge we are going against is sexist and does not like sex offender! It seems like every lawyer is the same way!

There are some good ones out there just gotta look and make sure there not in the pocket of CPS and same with the judge is not in there pocket the judge who allowed the kidnapping of my niece and nephew was once a guardian of laden so if he is get a new judge fast and make sure she/he is not one sided but fair

I just sent a message to Arkansas Time After Time. I'm hoping they someone there will know a lawyer that can help. The ones we talked to acted like they didn't even care.

GOD is working behind the scenes in this case. he works mysterious ways . well about the rash if hes got blisters def report it , get the doc med records of this stuff in your hands . and for your son to be so happy with yu two but u can tell hes distant with the other people . something isnt right . yes i know what yu say about lawyers . same happened with me , la wyer said cauue hub was sex offender he couldnt really help :( its been 4 yrs now . i havent seen my other 2 boys and the ex bf keeps changing his number so we dont have it . im about to write him and tell him i need number im their mommy pay cs and i am entitled to know how they are . last phone call . one my lil boys said mom i dont wan stay no ny . :( broke my heart . told that to my hub mom too , she loved my chidren since they was yr old . 2009 was last time i saw them . never will forget the day they was headed to ny , supposed to been a vacation til school started :( was last time i ever gave them a hug . what a deeep pain in my heart . as a mom im sure u know what im talkign about . anyways with you being able to see them . thats a good sign , maybe youll get them back sooner or later ,ill be praying . maybe one day the laws will change and my two twin boys will come back to me and my hub too if its GOD will .

They have a link for these lawyers in each state. It seems all this is happening because CPS assumes the child is safer with strangers because of the hubbies registry status. Ultimately I believe having a good lawyer familiar with SO cases will know how to disarm the over reaching arm of CPS and argue for the child to be with his mother and possibly father too.

You may need to look outside your immediate area for a lawyer. It is a fact that, although they may "fight" in court, at the end of the day, lawyers, DA's and judges oftentimes go to the same clubs and churches. They know one another outside of the courtroom.

I have contacted Arkansas Time After Time for help with finding a lawyer and advice on what to do in this state. I've already been contacted and was to there is someone in the board that wants to talk to me. So hopefully they can help!!
