Our son was takin from us today....just feeling nu

Our baby was takin today by child protective services. The parants of a man that is trying to say he is the biological father of our son. They filed an immediate protective custody petition today because of my husbands background and they came and picked him up. The court date is Wednesday so we have to wait until then. I'm without a loss for words at the moment and all I feel is numb..... My baby was taken from us without warning or a reason. These peoe know the history and know the case and had no problem with the background. The last thing we heard was that his mother was trying to tell my husband things like she seen me and her son one night, ( after I got married and had my son) making out at my work and trying to split us apart. After this we told her we were backing away from them, then today we get this....

Oh, hell no! Call an attorney ASAP! They have no right to remove your child from your home. The child is not in any danger. The man claiming paternity will have to PROVE it! Fight, fight like hell. Tell everyone you know and the news that CPS took your child! They have been known to thwart power when it's not necessary.

We are going first thing Monday morning to get an attorney, but since they waited till so late on a Friday afternoon they didn't come and pick him up till about 3:30. I was at work and our son was at home with the babysitter. They did not ask if he was on any medicine what he eats or anything. He is only 9 months old!!

this is utter bullshit they did the same to me when it came to my niece and nephew and my charges was 11 years ago i won't wait tell wednesday you need to get a lawyer and get one ASAP it makes me sick how they get away with this stuff also here is a link i would suggest you look at it's www.massoutrage.com this will give you all the info you need also take it from all of us do a back ground check on the judge and the prosecuting attorney we found out sometime ago that the judge who was on my sisters case was a GLA so he adopted kids out pretty fast another thing you need to do is get a recording device as well and anything to get a head of them

We are getting one Monday morning. We called them to let them know what he eats and about his medicine and stuff, they told me I could come and see him but without my husband. The good thing is is that his parole officer will be going to court with us and is 100% on our side!! He said he didn't even know how they could have done this.

Get the lawyer asap!! That's crap that they did that to you guys and iam really sorry. Do checks on everyone your dealing with its great that your po is on your side!
Iam agreeing with oneofthem on this one it sounds like a witch hunt and they need to be exposed for this!

I can certainly understand why you're numb. This is absolutely horrible! I can't think of a worse nightmare, and I've found myself in some pretty bad ones, with two adult sons in prison. But, to take a baby from its mother is the lowest of the low stunts for anyone to pull. I agree that you need a lawyer. Look for a family law attorney, when you do your searching.

You also might want to look at www.fightcps.com, for some moral support and ideas on how to fight this.

If I were there, I'd hug you and sit with you and ache with you. I'm so sad and outraged that you have to go through this.

Although rules for SO's are different when it comes to search and seizure, the laws guarding the rights of the children are still the same. Please tell me if they had a Warrant? We're they escorted by law enforcement. CPS will often overstep their authority in taking children and when it all comes out, the parents will be said to have willingly surrendered the children. They need a Warrant!! Law Enforcement if they have any intelligence wouldn't dare take a child without a warrant, but have been known to. Those who have been sued won't make the mistake again. The proper scenario would have been a court order if necessary and your husband would have been removed not he child. WRONG WRONG WRONG!!!

Thank you guys! Yes they did have a warrant.....seems like its 50vpages and I have read it over and over and over again. We have been talking to some friends that have been in the court on the law side and they think we will get him back Wednesday because our parole officer is going and it states in the warrant that they think we have not been fourth coming about our relationship and our son with him. Lol I just have to laugh at that, and we are bringing the paper from the parole board that says they allowed my husband to be in the home with our son.

I'm at a loss for words, this makes me so angry! I and everyone else here will be with you in spirit on Wednesday, even if we can't be there in person. My prayers are with you, you're husband, and your sweet little baby boy!

One thing we just thought of is, if they were so afraid of his safety then why 10 months later did they do this. Why not when they found out about my husbands background.

Oh, hon. My heart goes out to you. How absolutely scary this must be for you. Praise God that his PO is on your side and you have documentation to back it up. When you get your sweet little one back, I hope you sue everyone involved for what they have done. It seems that only lawsuits and public exposure stop this kind of thing from happening. Of course, public exposure also means your husband will be publicly exposed and that may not be worth it. I pray you will have wisdom!
