Hi and Hello everyone. I am new to Daily Strength. I have been wandering aimlessly through the internet looking for others like me and now I have found it. These past few months have been hell for me. On June 25 2014, my husband was arrested for molesting my 14 yr old daughter (his stepdaughter). CPS had come to my house and asked if they could interview my daughter and I. At first, I thought it was because I had hit my daughter during an argument, but then they told me the real reason of they were there. My husband admitted to it, when they questioned him. I was in a total shock, especially since I just had given birth to our third child on nine days earlier. What was supposed to be a cherished moment in our life became a nightmare. His father and mother were also visiting us when he was taken away. i have spent the last three months wondering why this has happened to me. I still love my husband but i beat myself up for having feelings for someone who could hurt our children.. He has raised her since she was 6 years old. Sometimes, I think I am just stupid for feeling like this.
