oh my i am so sorry this has happened to you .not sure what to say as i am new to this as well my hubby. coming up on 24th anniversary was texting then somehow turned into sexing and sending pics to my daughters best friend since 1st grade. she is like a daughter to me as well. she sent the first pics....he is 49, very stressed at work.. has not done anything ever like this at all... like he sNapped// IDK. but then new charges came up... idsi, aggravated sexual assult,without consent, several other than say how forced her and no consent... which i know is not true!!! he has been going thru e.d. and testing and such..she also told me she deleted the pics(cause i wanted to make sure it was him and such}.and her moms first question was will she(her daughter) get into trouble.??? she also said she would not turn him im... i wanted for him to turn himself in. next day at school my daughter had a mental breakdown at school and told everything. that is why he got caught.(paper and news say different ,said victim turned him in}well at that preliminary she wanted him to go to jail and stay there. i had him out on bail.2 days after they arrested for these new charges.. he did turn himself in. he was really surprised that i didnt hate him... i just cant stop loving a man i have been with since i was 18 and being married almost 24 yrs. she didnt want to take stand at all.. lawyers back and forth trying to either trail or deal.... well she was lying about most.. she was sitting on her lap, kissing,holding hands, talking, and she was feeling his crotch , he was feeling her boobs... that is it,, our lawyer knew about this upfront so they continued first preliminary and then another district had to have their investigation since park in different town. that surprise is what i didnt know.. then he told me....at the courthouse... he said he was enev more embarassed and ashamed if he told me and i would hate him more... i dont hate my husband but i sure in hell hate what he did... and also her... yes she is a minor but calling me mom all the time and wanting to take my hubby away or have sex and such with him... really just pisses me off really bad!!!!so not only cyber cheated on it also was sort of physical... he did not penetrate anything!!!! or touch her vagina. he did get scared and said it wasnt right... he had told her a few times in their texting that she isnt 18 yet... i asked him what her reply was but he cant remember... his timeline on all this is up in air as well he cant remember when it changed from dad figure to more... she has many issues and should also have mental health issues... sorry for ranting on.. i am sl glad i found some sort of site for families because it affects us as well...thanks for listening... you are welcome to add me.. not sure how to do things on this site yet/// confusing alil bit...i am computer challenged but i have come a long way in learning lol...

also the girl was 16... news had it wrong as well saying she was 15 which is my daughters age.......

You are not alone. I know what you are going through, my world turned upside down when our daughter told me she was being abused by her dad - my husband.

I am sitting here reading your post and I am in tears your story is almost exactly the same as mine

So sorry to hear about what you are going through. This is a great site with many people that are going/have gone through all types of sex related crimes. My son is doing 3 yrs for online viewing. I do not know what I would do or how I would feel if my husband had done what yours did so I can't say I know what you are going through in that sense, but I do know what you are going through when your world is shattered and the bottom drops out. I have cried enough tears for a lifetime. I have tried to take the blame and wondered what I could have done differently as a mother that this never would have happened. There are many stages and you will go through them at your own pace. Take care and know you are definitely not alone. And whatever you decide to do for you, your daughter and your family....know that you will make it! I am a cancer survivor and it truly does apply when I approached both 1 day at a time. Any other way is too overwhelming!

As thoughtasweak has said u are not alone. my world also was turned upside down when finding out my daughter was molested by my boyfriend(her dad). i too have chose to stand by him. I love him but still am battiing with the thought of what he did to our child. i too at first thought something was wrong with me ; how could i stay with someone who did this to my child. our daughter still talks to him and writes to him in prison. She has said he is still my daddy and i still love him ; i just wanted it to stop that's all. So if she can still love him then y cant i. 'this support group has helped me even though i do not post much. But by just reading the post and knowing i am not alone helps. Hang in there and if you need to talk to someone just pm me okay.
