I love the part that they will use inmate labor to do their "dirty deeds".
I was wondering...If I owned my home in this county, and the "sign squad" showed up at my house to plant this because of my SO son living with me....would I not have the right to defend my property??
Would they not have to place the sign on state/county owned property??

If i lived in the area, i'd have them in my yard, and change them out regularly..make sure they look just like the real thing...it'd be hysterical.

Rewdiazepam, I agree that this won't hold up. You can't force somebody to display a sign like that on their lawn. That crosses the line from making public information available (the justification for the registry) and punishment.

The upside to Florida, I think, is that it will be the reason the whole registry will be declared unconstitutional. Courts can look at the registry requirements as a whole, rather than one by one, and there is simply no way the policies in places like Florida could be interpreted as anything other than punishment beyond one's legal sentence.
