faeryedark, this cracked me up.

when i was young my mother loved to garden. the house was surrounded by what she called her 'rock garden', and she had a ton of flowers planted that bloomed from early spring to late fall.

needless to say the neighborhood kids and beyond 'loved' those flowers. now mom didn't have too much of a problem with a missing flower or 3 but did take extreme exception to swathes of her babies missing. if a kid asked permission mom would go out and help them get a small bouquet. but is she caught them just picking or snatching and she could get a hold of them? she paddled their butts. back then no one had a problem with it. now days? hooooboy!

she even caught someone who had been driving by picking her flowers. they parked right out front and proceeded to pick. lord have mercy i thought she was gonna murder that woman1 LOL

I agree with what you say REW AND Once but remember we are talking about FlorDUH here. Since the Bill includes how it will be paid for (by the registrants - lol that is a joke!) I can see the legislators nodding in agreement - yeah yeah that's the ticket!

Lol, Echomoon, I daresay both our moms would be in jail at the very least. My mom didn't put up with anything. She once scared a teen so bad that the teen broke their own ankle (jumped back and went down a small embankment) And, she once threw a shovel she was using javelin style at a teen who was harrassing me. He was on a a dirtbike type thing and was weaving around like he was gonna hit me (to scare me I was about 7 or so) He didn't know she was out behind the shed.
Anyway, she came screaming around the corner and yelled at him something to the effect of "what if you were to lose control of that thjng like this" and she lobbed that sucker at his back wheel (he was away from me) and sent him skidding down the road.
Yeah, nowadays she'd be in jail AND there'd be a lawsuit
