at one time i read an article that gave a number for the amount of laws there are on the books in this country that could land a person on the registry. i was horrified at just how many laws there are.
i kick myself for not saving or bookmarking that article.

but i'm also thinking streaking, mooning, skinny dipping, snapping bra straps, giving wedgies, a parent or grandparent who takes a kid across state line for an excursion or a visit to a park but doesn't have permission from the custodial parent.
so many simple, innocent and everyday things that a person would never, ever think would land them on the registry.
