I don't understand how any state could apply these Halloween laws to any registrant off paper----off all probation or parole.

To make someone off paper be confined in their own house for any period of time would be a form of House Arrest and I don't think that is legal.

I am sure I will have to sign the same stuff... I will just write something up on my company letterhead stating that I am required to be at my shop. As a business owner I don't think they can say no. I am sure that they will come harass me, but what can they do except deal with it. I will laugh at them when they say I can not go to "work" and then proceed to bury them in so much paperwork that there head's will spin... it's all about plating the game

My PO said he'd make an exception for me to attend my bowling league so I can't imagine they would stop you from working.

I know, REW it is infuriating the things they do - it is just like the conversation on another thread where someone is off registry and paper but still has to follow the living restrictions etc. that is crap!!

they put you in prison, you get out but are a prisoner of gps, house arrest, probation. even when the time finally comes and you are off of probation? the registry is still there ruling your life. on the registry you are a prisoner of sorts as to where you can live, work, go to school, where you can go and do and who you can be with.

then there is the knowledge that even if and when you are able and allowed to get off the registry in your state? if you move to another state there is a very good chance that you will have to register again according to their state laws. (if i understand that law/ruling correctly?)

and yet they say that the registry is not punitive..... WTF were they and are they thinking????

Ugh .this lock down makes me ill to my stomache .i asked my probation officer was it all those days my hub on curfew that he has to be in the house .or can he play lil catch ball with our son. Outside .they said its all those days .the night will come faster .so it wont matter ! I wanted to speak a word to them .asking them. How would you knoe it dont matter.etc .they arent on this stupid registry .....plus they dont know how we feel or care .but of course i shut up .didnt respond back ..but u get tired them people coming around every 2 weeks to see abiut your hub .knowing full well they know my hub schedule as it is with work .but tgey still come around when hes at work and im home. .we live by the rules and fear of God is ib us both .my hub knows how to live right . .duh .wish theyd leave us alone ..even our son is nice to them like to grt them to throw ball.and we have to tell then them people are not here to play or make friends .they here making sure everything is ok dont try playing with them . .i pray in 6yrs we can befire judge and get. His probation lifted off him ..and we can live in peace .without police state .
