I was hoping more that mothers who are so concerned about Sex Offenders realize with stories like that just how easy it is to be accused of sexual misconduct. Soon, even children that age will be listed on the registry. Would that help people understand how maddening this whole thing has become, and how the sex hysteria has completely gotten out of hand? Maybe, we need more stories like this to open people's eyes. Stop this madness. Please.

I just emailed the Dysart School board regarding this. This makes me so scared to put my kid in public schools. He is turning five so that time is quickly approaching.

I know what you mean my son going to 1st grade tis year . and im scared for him as well , he made it thru kindergarden , but it was rough , he had hard time and was bullied and it was just rough . its not easy having to be the only one able to participate in school activitis with son , or have to take son back forth to from school , even when im hurting and sick :( and then deal with him getting sick almost every couple weeks hes in school from the uncleanliness going on in the schools , hes not been sick once not even a cold since hes been on summer vacation at home . . but not hd to worry about them finding out my hub on registry or much question about it , they asked once about me and hub coming to a scholl conference etc . but they hadn't bothered me that one time . so thank GOD for that ,I just don't like to have to explain my hub past to people , it needs to be let alone and people live and leave us be. even my hub counceling yes to be reminded of past is good in a way but it needs to not have to be every single week u go to counceling be reminded of it , if u don't live in past and GOD forgiven u..t don't help people to see the future and those who are living normal or trying to be normal in this draconian state /or anyone elses.
I feel like home schooling son . but im going to let him get his socialization in and be around oher people at school , if it gets bad ill take him out and home school him.
and to let u know thekids do tease and bully and try to dare other kids to do things and when they do they think its funny , kids think everything is funny , even if its cray or redicouous or what this lil boy done in school . , yes it maks me sick this way the great America is but it is home of the free nd the brave here , we aren't safe and our children aren't safe , so tell me how free and brave it is ?u gotta drop ur child off and don't see them till school is out, I dread that because of the way schools have become,

they want to punish our precious children for ridiculous things or stuff they thought was funny to do cause of some dare , ye su teach your kids not to do wrong or do any dares if someone tells u , but the schools shouldn't be this crazy and strict and to keep it on his profile , hes not even old to under stand everything .

they give u an agenda every day to read and etc , tellsu crazy stuff on it and we as parents have to sign it . . even when u mention that they need to tlk to other families who have kids that bullied my boy , they don't want to hear it , they don't care . but its ou son who end up with black blue eyes from getting punched around in school or scissors on neck cause of a dare he listened to , and teachers knew nothing about it !! kids are safer at home then in school , but if u keep them out for your beliefs or they sick they threaten take u court and jail go figures!!

I thought there was laws where they could not post a minors picture , especially like they are all over the news on this one. Unless the mom is pushing for it to show the injustice. Still..I wouldn't want my precious babies face thrown out there so others could give their opinion, which I would completely not give a shit what it was, about him. I wouldn't want him to be recognized in stores and have people pointing and whispering...ugh going to go hug my little guy right now. This story is so sad and shows how heartless all the busy body women with no life who insist on these policies to protect their little ones, since their fat asses clearly aren't capable of it. Ugh..sorry..just venting at how furious this makes me.

The villains and idiots of this mess are those responsible for creating a policy that must be only black and white. I assume the school official's hands were tied.

I have noticed throughout the years, these rigid policies have been created by overzealous legislators or administrators with no regard for any mitigating circumstance.

And yes, if being a five year old boy is not a mitigating circumstance, I don't know what is.

They usually do this in response to a criminal prosecution or something similar where someone did not seem to get enough time or punishment to suit their tastes. In some cases, a judge may have given someone a lenient sentence and they thought they would just stop that by taking the sentencing or punishment out of the judges hands.

The judges cannot then make any downward departure because of statutes or rules made by the administrative body.

The damn legislature should leave the criminal justice system alone and allow judges----and only judges-----to hand down the sentence. Judges are in a much better position to give out a sentence that not only serves justice, but is fair to the defendant.

The legislators---along with the media----are registered citizens biggest problem.

In this case you had a small child that has absolutely no concept of sex or right or wrong regarding their body.

And they forced him to sign a document without his parents being present??? Sheesh.

It is disgraceful that this happened, but it is just an example of what happens when a country loses all touch with reality and bases its laws and regulations on emotions.

@hurtingfamily I would look into homeschooling. You don't have to worry about social skills. I was home schooled because my dad was on the registry and we were afraid of the exact same thing your son is going through. We joined a home school group so there was plenty of interaction there. See if your church has one.
