Unfortunately people who have never walked in our shoes can be mean. I know they are truly just ignorant of this life. I don't mean that in a derogatory way, but they are ignorant. All we can do is rise about it all the best we can even though sometimes that's so difficult. Thankfully your uncle has you to support him.

Jesse, is there a way to not have to take new photos every 6 months? That will give them less ammo to make fun of him with. He is worried about what color shirts he wears because they make fun of him for that. He over thinks the color of even a plain t-shirt :(

Sorry to be blunt but there is no way around this I have to have mine taken every 6 months also and on top of that I make it a priority not to wear any type of shirt that has logos or pictures on them I try to wear a basic shirt or a dress shirt everytime I register it takes away there fuel

Nathan, that's what my uncle tried to do. He tried to just wear a plain grey shirt. They photo edited his face and shirt to a picture showing him in a potato sack and are sending it around to people to laugh at. He can't win... :(

How bout' that guy who tried to make em take his pic with some kinda sticker on his forehead protesting the injustice? I want to stick my tongue out in mine... what can they do to me if they don't like it??

No way around it, I'm afraid.....in time your uncle will rise above the cruelty of people. That's the great thing about human nature. We can adapt to the most trying situations. Your love and encouragement will help him through this.

what's wrong with the shirts?

I hope so Jesse. They seemed to pounce on the photo once it went online and started making videos about it right away. Just wish they would stop. Last time they printed out his pic and made mocking collages and sent them to his trailer and his work, but no return addresses of course :(

Ha! Would be funny if he got a t shirt with a big one finger salute on it! But I will tell you that (I know easier said than done) until he stops letting them make him a victim he will always be one. He needs to look out for his safety and live life. He needs to realize that those that are obsessed with him are the ones with very disturbing issues!

And again I say that using the US mail for harassment is a crime - every time they do it he needs to file a formal complaint with the police and the USPS - it matters not that there is no return addresses - it is a crime and not his job to solve it

Plus when will these Neanderthals learn it is a crime to tamper with registery information photo shopping objects into pictures like that is against the law

Advocate, he actually did file a couple harassment claims this year so far. The police haven't done anything. A couple of those YouTube channels got shut down I think because I complained. But in a few days they were up again. What more can we do?

He needs to keep filing... the squeaky wheel gets the grease... He also needs to file complaints with the USPS as well as the State police. Then document, document, document. It will see futile and pointless, but the longer you document the tougher the case against those folks will be in the end. But if he never reports the harassment, never documents any of their crap, then they will get away with it and there will be nothing you or him can do about it.

I know it sounds harsh but the reality of this situation appears to be that he either keeps handing them rope so they can hang themselves or put that noose around his own neck, so to speak. But I am sure he can do it with your support...

Flipping the bird is a one finger salute - keep filing them if they never do anything that is against the law also! Keep filing them and keep complaining .... eventually someone is going to get the idea that just because he is who he is not not mean he can be harassed - keep filing the complaints and keep records of all of them.
