wisconson i agree women for the most part are very vindictive.

women don't have a complete monopoly on it. men can be back stabbers and they can also be vindictive. but.......... women definitely take the commanding lead in that race!

Based on my experience I have to agree - my son was originally adjudicated my a male judge (thank goodness) but when he retired a newly elected woman judge was appointed and she was a you now what. lol She has recently been removed from criminal court and assigned to civil court (don;t really know why but was glad!)

I'm going to take the stance that all judges and prosecutors are B's when it comes down to it. You won't get leniency from either gender. Though I do find it odd that people are only calling women bitches. My judge compelled my victim to testify or he was going to put her in jail for contempt of court. He denied our motion to to be adjudicated as a minor since this happened when I was several years under the age of consent. The male prosecutor gave me a plea deal and would not accept anything but a felony that would stay on my record for the rest of my life and would not let it go to juvenile court. So I took a plea deal. Both are the biggest bitches I know, and they have make genitalia. Bitchdom is not just a female quality! I'll use the Supreme Court's interpretation of porn for who is a bitch-- I cannot tell you what gender a bitch is, but I'll know it when I see it.

I have to agree that the way judges rule and their leniency is not dependent on their gender or their genitals... LOL It is their own personal history, their own personal views, whether or not it is an election year for them (at least here in WI), and if there is anyone pulling any strings. There is the law, but sometimes that is such a sticky wicket that you need the judge to make essentially the 'swing' vote.

When I was working on my now husband's case I researched all the judges that he could possibly face and their track record on how they ruled on sex offense cases. Of the three in the county in which he was convicted, two were terrible and the third was OK. Of course the first attorney that my hubby had changed venues because he had heard bad things about that judge, but those rumors ONLY pertained to DWI and OWI cases as he had a daughter that was killed by a drunk driver and he had a hard-on for anyone that drank and drove. When it came to most other cases he was brutally fair, seemed to treat each case as an individual and would have been the best judge for him to have been in front of. Because of the change in venue in the very beginning before I got involved it really screwed the rest of the case.

Personally I don't think that the media should be allowed in or around the court rooms of this country, it keeps the whole thing on a stage and when there is a stage there is acting. Maybe a video and transcripts to be release AFTER all proceedings are complete, so there can be no speculation, no analysis, and no influencing from the public. It should reduce the amount of grandstanding that goes on in our legal system, just need to take the stage away. It can still all be public record, but after the battle is done, not as if it was a spectators sport.

Well I can tell you that out of all the judges that my son could have gotten, he got the one woman and one man that were the hardest and out of the two, the woman was the BIGGEST BITCH! She came into court walking in with her 2 daughters. I would guess they were maybe 7 and 9? We were waiting outside as the bitch judge was not on time, as usual, and I saw her walk in with her 2 daughters and walk into her chambers with them. I, at that time, knew she had it in for my son. Even the attorney we had was astounded by her behavior towards my son. His boss even came to court to testify what a great employer and person he was. The DA started telling her that she was for sex offenders is that what you are saying? It was a total mess, but let me get back on track, she had it out for my son. Everyone saw it and she treated his father and I horribly! Can't wait to get the transcript soon! She is up for election again right now and I sure hope she LOSSES!!!!

As far as the man judge is concerned, he thought she was a bit overboard and that is why he agreed to let my family see my son before his sentence to hug him and say goodbye for now. At least he had compassion.

Yes, both men and women can be BITCHES, but I think women (in my case) are the WORST JUDGES! Just saying!!!

dang!!! i would have given most anything in the world to have been able to hug my daughter at her sentencing!!!! it was the first time i had been able to see her in 7 months. i was not even allowed to get her a tissue for her tears of sniffles. and was not really given a chance to say mush of anything after the sentencing. the best i could do was to holler out in the courtroom as they took her away was, "i love you, stay strong".

Not allowing a defendant to spend a few minutes of time with their family after they are sentenced and about to be taken back to the county jail is just uncalled for. In fact, it is total bull shit.

That is just really cruel and another reason I HATE the system and love the families that have to endure this nonsense. It would hurt nobody to allow the family a little time with the defendant.

The inhumanity the justice system has toward humanity just really makes me wonder about people.

it sure wouldn't taken much and it wouldn't have hurt them a bit to let me hug and kiss her before they took her back. hell they would have been standing right there watching, they could have left the railing between us for that fact. it would have meant the world to the 3 of us!
