Does anyone have advice for RSO in Connecticut? My husband will be joining me in CT and I want to buy a house but I'm scared as to where in CT we could live that is safe.

CT now has residency restrictions for sex offenders. Bill 1087 was passed and signed by the governor.

The law states that " Convicted sex offenders must now reside at least one thousand feet away from a school or child care center, and the offender’s resident community will be put on notice of the offender’s presence.

What makes this board the best support board for sex offenders on the entire internet is the people who make up the board and the veterans willing to help others.

This is a support board. Many of the newbies are completely lost and confused.

I am only doing what I feel is the right thing to do.

This could all change again as ct is putting together it's own two year study on sex offenders and recidivism and restrictions and their consequences.
