I am so sorry that he took a good woman for granted and now you are collateral damage to his crime.
I have been around inmates and offenders for many years, and I can tell you that some people just do not know how to say, “I am sorry.” I am not a psychologist, but I just think some folks are so selfish for their own desires that they have no empathy for others. I am sure they don’t see it that way, as one offender----a twice convicted rapist---told me with a straight face, “If I felt I had something to apologize for, I would do it, but I don’t."
It really hurts when we learn that we have been taken for granted, but you are a decent and strong young lady. You can go on with your life.
Hope you start feeling better soon.

I'm sorry for you :( I never got any kind of apology either, for wasting my time and anguish and opportunities while through his deceit. It stings... More upsetting, post break up he sent me a text saying it gives him pleasure to think I'll be in a rush now to find someone else to have kids with. What can we do now but just move on the best we can? A quote I'm embracing right now is "Start now. Start where you are. Start with fear. Start with pain. Start with doubt. Start with hands shaking. Start with voice trembling but start. Start and don't stop. Start where you are, with what you have. Just... start"
Message me if you want to chat. I've been through all this and don't mind talking about it.
