It is so difficult and an onerous task to even attempt to get these types of pictures/videos removed. Since the internet is worldwide, there is no conservative estimate of how many times these things have been posted or at the very least, stored on hard drives across the World.
My main beef with this is the EASY access to this type of material. We have all seen the "disclaimers" on certain websites--yeah, like that gonna stop some hormone-raging teen from NOT clicking on the "Yes..I'm over 18"...So, if you can't remove...at the very least..there should be a little blurb about the realities of viewing or downloading this stuff...such as, everytime you click on say, umm "Joanie is REALLY loving Chachi.avi", a little note comes up stating that this has been deemed CP , and the criminal prosecution for CP posession/receipt/ditribution,ect is insanely harsh. Then provide some links to recent convictions, and the whole Megans Law, ect.
Then, if you CHOOSE to proceed.....well, then eventually, you will be toast.
I know this will never come about...but I do know that many,many young people will get caught because they are unaware of the SEVERE penalties involved.

to the best of my knowledge there were never photos taken of my abuse, and honestly I'd rather not know or be notified, and those that continuosly sue over those images for monetary gain..it's not helping them. any monies gained by such lawsuits over an above a set standard amount should go for victim counceling...not that i think they should be able to sue over and over again...it's the creator of the images that should bear the brunt of it
