I live in Nebraska and my son is in prison in another state. I read about a prison riot in one of the prisons here in Nebraska yesterday, and today I found out that 2 inmates were killed in the riot, and they were both convicted of rape of a child. Here I was thinking for some reason that things like this didn't happen here in the midwest and that maybe I didn't need to worry about my son so much. This has really scared me. My son's going to be in for at least 10 more years, maybe more, and I don't like the statistics involved with the chances of someone finding out about his crime.
