Hi Kim. So sorry to hear about this latest development. Dealing with addiction really is an uncontrolable roller coaster of events but I applaud your decisions and will continue to hold you and yours up in my prayers. Stay strong and HUGS to you.

Sorry Kim, its amazing how we can know. I know in the past I knew before ah did he was going to use. Its all the pattern before the using.
If your daughter keeps relapsing it may be time to check into some medications to block receptors. Most people relapse because brain will not shut up. It keeps nagging and eventually you can only tune it out for so long and the addict will use. I know people will say its switching one drug to another, but the drugs are blocking certain receptors and helping others work correctly. She keeps relapsing, something is wrong, Dual diagnosis maybe.

My heart sinks every time I read a loved addict relapses because it means that he/she and all those who love him/her are at this moment climbing back on the hellish merry-go-round of pain and anguish. May you and your daughter be blessed with the strength it takes to pull yourselves up from the dark pit we all know so well.
