Has I continue to wait for my addicts return ,,, which by the way is going on 6 weeks,,, I find myself wanting to clean,,, like the smell of lavender and bleach has become a deffinet need,,, although I look at this as perhaps crazy,,, I guess it's better then just covering up in bed and doing nothing,,,must say,,, my family loves it,, although when they come in the door they are not sure what they are walking into,,, re-arrange furniture has become my addiction,,, and yes I do have other options also to full up my empty thoughts of my addict,, I work ( 6 days), a lively 6 year old,, that really is my light of my dark moments,,, three other active teenagers,,, and my best friend ( my husband), that knows when I'm having my silent breakdown ,, usually makes a bubble bath,, and of course I'm very active in my support group,,, also very good friend of mine is going through a horrific disease,, Lou Gehrig disease,, and if course helping with a fundraiser for her,,,,my point here,,,, it's not about the storm ( I miss my daughter ,, more then words can express) but the ability to dance in the rain,,,,, never give up hope,,, ( I will continue,, to look out the window, for her everyday,, and stand waiting with open arms for her return),, my anger has been redirected,, my saddness turned into finding the beauty that surrounds us,,,,,

Live like its your last day
Laugh until your belly hurts
Love like its your first time

Hope is the faith that makes us believe that tomorrow will happen

Thanks lorifla,,, Ava is a deffinet blessing,,and I'm basically starting over rasing this little one,,, my baby turned 16 ( her sweet 16th party was yesterday),,, I'm very fortunate that my surroundings I created are positive,,, which I work hard every day to make it the best day I can give to others,, which in return I recieve my gift,,, peace

Janilor, Kim, dmatt,,, I would not be where I am without you guys,,, oh this is a tough journey, by all means,,, and it's pointless standing still,,, it's called insanity,,, which is where I was,,,, and dmatt it ate me up,, I was unable to look at myself in the mirror
Today I am a proud mother ,, that happens to have a child with addiction and is wandering in the wilderness,, one day she will return home, my hopes is in my arms,,,, my only regret,,, that I did not follow through earlier,,,

You are my inspiration and a mentor, I truly look up to you and the way you look at the world. You turn darkness into sunshine and I am grateful to have a friend like you even though we've never met, I feel like I can tell you anythng. Krista has been home since Friday and so far so good. Thank you for all your help and just listening. I will keep your daughter and you in my prayers.

Pat,,, we come to this site for the unfortunate,, but stay because we become friends ,, we all hold the same bond the ugly addiction,,, even though I've never met any of you,,, I feel this weird closeness to all,,
Your comment of being your inspiration,, those words mean a lot ,, take one day,,, shoot take it hour by hour,,, regardless of where your journey goes,, I will help you clear the path,,,

Thank you , positive thinking,, = positive living,, I've learned through endless research,,, that I can not change the addict,,, can not control the addict,,,, therefore will never again allow the addiction to control me,,,,, all about supporting sobriety ,,,, never give up hope,,, has long as their is life there is hope,,,,

Others, like you, accept these for what they are--parts of the human condition--and work toward lessening their effect on others' lives by giving all they have of themselves. If everyone looked at adversity the way you do, this would be a much happier world.
