thats what they do.. addicts. they lie/steal and don't care who they steamroll in the process. its all about the drug!!!!!!!!
i am only imagine the devastation you must be feeling with him being sober for so long and then relapsing. its my worst fear and i think the reason i broke up with my bf last week. he is 8 months clean but the notion that they can relapse on the drop of a dime.
my only advise would be to not waste your time/energy with dealing with specifics of his actions... just get your truck and call it a day. trying to make sense of any of it is just a waste of breath when you are dealing with a drugged out brain.
set boundries for yourself and worry about your own needs. save yourself. (maybe i am just jaded.. but living a life with an addict by choice isn't the life that anyone would want, i would imagine)
hugs to you. hang in there. the sun will rise tomorrow and hopfully you can stabalize and set some boundries.
HUGS

Eat healthy. Try not to worry about him. Turn it over to God. Remember his path and his journey are his. You must take care of yourself. We are all here for you. Please keep us posted.
Hugs....
Stay Strong
I hope you get your truck back and start thinking about you!
Stay strong, like JennyLyn said the sun will rise tomorrow
You are not being mean, It's called "High Tolerance for inappropriate behavior." he is being irresponsible and taking advantage of you. like Bcollie said. They love the drama and the hoopla it feeds their ego.... the only thing they understand is living the consequences.
Good Luck.

and i know i haven't heard from him since last night...at all...we have a brand new sound system at home and a big screen tv...that are his outright...so i was waiting for him to come get those...that's what he usually does...
but i haven't heard a peep from him...so i'm getting more and more worried...
about my truck...is that wrong? I love him and all but right now my main concern is MY truck...it's mine...it's the only thing of value that i have...
