My husband Joe ended his life on September 16, 2010. He had been home from Afghanistan for one week. I had no idea how troubled he was, he always seemed so in tune with himself and others. I miss my best friend dearly.

I am so sorry of all our losses.

I'm happy to talk about who my dad was. How he died, that's just the gory details. Why talk about that? My dad was my hero. I miss him.

My mother killed herself on april 12, 2009. She was 64 yrs old. My mother looooooved to dance! In fact that is how she met my father. They were both professional dancers in the 50s and clubs would hire them to do the dances of the time, jitterbug etc. She loved to work and dedicated herself to her career. She was amazing at raising 3 kids on her own did the absolute best she could before her mental illness got so bad that it took her life. I am 35 yrs old and I miss my mommy...

well i have 3 suicides in my life not just 1 the first one was my neighbor thomas bone he was my husands hunting,fishing buddy and his best friend i really think his suicide effected my husband because he took his life in feb of 2000. he was 2 day shy of 50 years he left me and our 2 kids behind he was a jack of all trades but a pro at none he was a very creative person who wasted alot of talent it really makes me mad how he wasted so much talent.his name was leroy eugene bayles sr. he was my 1st husband i had to go through the trama of identifying his lifeless body and haveing to say my good byes at a morque. i was not allowed to attend the funeral then the 3rd was a landlord who committed 3 weeks after my husband did his name was bernie my 1st husband was cherokee/dakota indian.my husband changed my life forever and the lives of our 2 children too.its hard to believe its going to be 11 years this coming february.
