has anyone taken tramadol for endo pain? i went to the doctors yesterday and explained how tylenol/advil/motrin/whatever does NOTHING to me and that oxy is about the only thing that can make a dent. she prescribed me tramadol 50mg. i want to say I've taken it before for the endo, but it didn't seem strong enough. IDK. anyone?
i read that tramadol is basically tylenol 3. I'm kinda wondering if i got screwed here and handed a prescription just to shut me up. thanks!

I've notice the 100mg slow releasing Tramadol is more convenient. I suffer severe endo pain, I've had the laparoscopy and had a marina inserted to help reduce the pain. I had surgery in Feb, it's now June and I woke up this morning with the worst pain. I can't sit properly, I can't walk for long periods of time and it's very uncomfortable to sleep in a good spot without pain. I have to say everyday has been hell since August last year. I used to have to take at least 3-4 50mg Tramadol a day to get through work yet it still doesn't get rid of the pain, it just smothers it. As a result to my absence at work they found a way to make me redundant, haha the reason being the new telephone systems installed are highly complex, my position is not needed. I was a receptionist in a LAW FIRM yes believe it. Even the law is unlawful. Maybe try the 199mg slow releasing that way you won't be taking as many pills just one every 12 hours xoxo

hey everyone just thought id bump this and give an update. i had some really bad pain this weekend where i was in a ball about crying. decided to take one of the tramadols like i was told to to. it didn't' even work. granted i was in extreme pain, but it didn't even seem to work! i had to take an oxycodone onto of it to make the pain stop.
i'm willing to try it again and maybe it was just a fluke and it will work this time.
i really want it to work, because i certainly don't want to have to go back to that doctor and tell her it didn't work. then seem like i'm a freakin drug addict (which I'm not!!) &ask for something stronger. but i guess if i try the tramadol again and it doesn't work, i have no other choice.
its such BS i can't get prescribed what i need when theres other people that can. ughhhh sorry for the rambling. but you ladies were right. tramadol does NOT work!

I just got my period twice in two weeks....took tramadol when pain was bad...it worked fine for me!
