Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
My name is Jessye.
I am in the Army, as is my husband, and we are stationed in Germany.
We just adopted a cat a week and a half ago...so far she is a little princess! Haha.
My husband has one child who lives at a different base with his biological mom.
I would say the best thing in the last month is getting our new kitty.
Best upcoming thing is our plans to use our once-a month 4 day weekends to go to a different country every month since it is so easy-we are already in Europe! It will be like a bunch of mini honeymoons.
I have only had one Endo surgery in February a week after I was diagnoised, but I have had 3 surgeries on my arm because I got hit by a car when I was 16.
Hmm...favorite current pain management tool would be hydrocodone, although it does not quite do the trick sometimes. It is hard to get good pain meds in the Army because they are so scared that people will become addicted...it kind of ruins it for people who really need it (like us). I am also on the Depo shot and Mirena. Tried Niva Ring but the damn thing kept falling out!! Plus, peroids are extremely painful and Nuva Ring causes you to have a peroid anyways.
Favorite hobby is shooting guns, but we cannot do that here, so it has been hard!! So for now, it is just TV & enjoying being a newlywed.
No pets with my bf but 2 labs at my parents.
Decided how much I want to quit my job and work at a book store! but I do need to feel better. A new employer might not be as understanding as my current one.
Soon I want to be able to be able to just be out and about and not feel so horrible! It's the little things i cant do that bother me the most sometimes
None yet. First lap tomorrow afternoon! (yikes!)
For the pain: my fav is oxycotin but most just advil and tramadol. and i switched to the nuvaring.
Well my surgery will have me laid upall weekend so hopefully i can read a good book or something.

Love, love music
Love history, antiques
LOVE the beach!
Love to clean OCD clean freak
love to work out when i can, and get nice and strong. Played all sports (daddy's girl and total "tomboy" at heart)
love getting all dressed up and going out with my husband
Love my husband, he's my sould mate-not just the man I married...we're exactly alike, sometimes not good-both have hot italian tempers, both sensitive (show in different ways), etc. etc etc. He's my best friend, but Im lucky that we it all...but its not perfect-nothing ever is!
Love my nephew-he's my son (not literally) but we have a mother/son relationship and I am the luckiest person in the world, he has a heart of gold, and hes an old soul. Hes my whole heart!
OTC's do not work for me at all, vicoden ES helps about 75%, muscle relaxers help a bit, anti anxiety meds when necessary help even with pain. Tramadol helps with every day chronic pain about 70% but not period pain etc. Surgery just never worked, and I cant be on hormones, so kinda stuck.
Hope others write in about their lives, we all share very intimate things, why not know a little more but still discreet. XX!

It's great to put a username and a person together. We're all so unique and tied to each other through this horrible situation.
I hope that we bond over more than just our complaints about doctors, surgeries, pain meds, stomach aches, back pains, and just general blah days.
So, who else is on the board? Those that have posted, anything new to share? How is the adopted cat? Any new antique purchases? How's the tennis star doing? Anyone read a good book?
