Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
For all the ladies on Lupron. I just got my 3rd shot tonight and for the past 2 weeks before the shot I've been getting joint pain. Nothing debilitating just annoying. It seems to get worse the more immobile I am. Its mostly in my elbows, fingers, knees, ankles with some muscle tension. Again nothing serious just irritating and when i'm not achy I just can't get comfortable esp when I'm trying to sleep.
Is this an effect from Lupron? When I went to get my 3rd shot tonight my nurse that injects it said that she has no idea and looked it up and saw nothing in the side effects on joint pain/muscle aches.
I'm going to call my Oncologist tomorrow as she has more dealings with Lupron to see what she has to say. But wondering if any of you have had this sort of issue?

On a side note, I'm also taking norethindrone with the lupron. it seems to have really helped with the side effects. Unfortunately, my pharmacy screwed up and my refill of norethindrone that I should have received Friday didn't show up. It's been three days since my last dose and today i feel awful. It will be here today but my lupron side effects are back with a vegenance. :(
