Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried this to treat their endo. I am going to a different obgyn tomorrow...I will let you know what he thinks I should be on. Yaz has always worked for me, and no other birth control has. (can't afford it)
Also, anyone ever participated in one of the studies they do for research purposes/and they have you try medication?
Thanks, ya'll take care

I tried it. It took 5 months to be symptom free. They didn't want me to be on it for more than 6 months. It all came back once I stopped the medication. I did have 2 good months and it reduced the size of my lesions. I ultimately had a full Hysterectomy, ovaries and all. I'm still waiting to be pain free, but I am having more good days than bad days. Femara, medically induces menopause. I thought, If I felt that good while I was on Femara, I should just take it all out and be done with it. Best of luck to you!

I was on Femara for a year and a half and I just had my 5th surgery with Dr Nezhat and I am not endo free and in remission....he removed all the endo but this time there was no new growth it was all old fibrosis and dead. I truly believe the Femara helped me to be myself again. I also supplemented the Femara with 1500mg calcium and 1500-3000mg vitamin D3. I have tried every thing there is to try for endo and this is the only thing that worked for me. I wish you luck...feel free to message me if you have any questions.

I was suffering from major loud whoosing noises and the topamax helped that but everyday I still hear those mainly between 6 - 12 pm. I am at my wits end and have not went...
