Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
1 if ppl don't respond to my post and I am still curious, I reply to myself to get it back to the top of the forum
2 I generally only look 5 deep in the forum because I am on here so much
3 if there is a topic I don't know at all or have no response for, I either do not open the post (Lipton q's for example) or rarely open and respond because it is a popular post.
So you question about the liver I did not open because I know nothing about it. You must have a PhD in endo!!! You are too advanced for us (or just me). :-)
So please forgive us for not knowing. It would be nice to learn together, I agree. There are some posts also (gulp) that scare me and I avoid thinking about the questions...sad but true. I just had a miscarriage and have to have my tubes removed and am somehow supposed to get pregnant after that. I have enough super scary things going on than to think about all of my guts hanging out (giggles)...although no one has posted that as far as I know.
Hope you come back to the board, we need you.
This was specifically in regard to your post but it applies more generally to the entire support group too...It does suck when topics go unresponded to and definitely can scare newer members away. I'm new here myself and despite some of the issues you brought up have met a few friendly folks and got lots of information on endo.
Your post was pretty complicated, about the liver and danazol, and i cant speak for anyone else, but for me, i had nothing to say because i had no advice at all-no offense...i cant do hormonal treatments and dont have any experience with Danazol, and dont know a lot about Danazol, especially the affects on the liver...like falana said, im not sure if its metabolized through the liver either, and i dont feel comfortable commenting on things i have no experience in, or real, concrete knowledge. I also think only a Dr. should answer that question...when you're asking about medication and the liver, thats really serious and you need the to know the facts about that.
Again, I am positive when a post is not answered its not done to be mean or cold.
