Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.
I would like some input on this as Ive read a lot about this IUD and the side effects are HORRIBLE.Ive also read posts on a different site and not one good post about this device.So what im looking for is all the bad and the good about this device.I suffer with severe endometriosis along with Fibromyalgia Crohn's Ankylosing Spondilitis and sjogren's syndrome. .I'm on medications that deplete my immune system so i get infections very easily.
As for side effects, it has made my breasts hurt REALLY bad to the point where I can barely walk and I cannot take a bra off without being in a ton of pain. My sister said age she also experienced weight gain but I have not. When I first got it placed, I bled for like 5 months, but I now have stopped bleeding except for some spotting maybe 1-3 days a month, but I still get a lot of pain.
Its something to really discuss with hour doctor just to make sure it's the right move to make. Best of luck, dear!!! Feel better!
