Endometriosis Support Group
Endometriosis is a common medical condition where the tissue lining the uterus is found outside of the uterus, typically affecting other organs in the pelvis. The condition can lead to serious health problems, primarily pain and infertility. A major symptom of endometriosis is pain, mostly in the lower abdomen, lower back, and pelvic area.

I feel the same way as you! I am so sorry you have to go through it. Hang in there. Be firm with the docs and demand help!

Hang in there. Surgery is not an end all, but it can/does help. Also, at 2 wks I was still in a lot of pain. It took 5 weeks for me...

My doctor said "he did everything he could do" what does that even mean ?
cidekmat
it means you might need to see someone more familiar with endo, a lot of doctors really truly don't understand it, are there any specialists near you you could go see?

hang in there sweetie. it took me 6-9 months to be pain free after surgery. it might take awhile for things to work for you and lessen the pain. its still new and your insides are still healing.

He is a specialist.... Also he told me that he only burned a small amount. He also told me that it has spread to my liver and bladder. Also he put me one more estrogen? Doesn't endo feed on estrogen?

I also have a question... Does anyone bleed for a long time after sex? I tried to talk to my doctor and he didn't answer my question. Also is it common to hurt 24/7 if it's not I need to find out what else is wrong. I guess gushing blood has been a new favorite for my body since I have been bleeding for 5 days and counting and when I say bleeding I mean changing a large tampon every hour... I'm starting to freak out

is it possible to see someone else? it sounds like this is a very large concern for you so if he cannot help you or seems to be brushing you off insist on a second opion and/or a referral to someone else..... I am sorry you have to be dealing with this unfortunately there are good drs out there and not so good drs if I were you I would push to see someone else if nothing else for your peace of mind.... hugs hope things get better soon

You are still recovering from the surgery. Not to scare you, but I actually got worse after my surgery. I thought I was in pain before it, but my pain level increased and was very bad for over 6 months after. I didn't come off pain medicine until about September and I had my surgery in January. Its different for everyone, but I believe the surgery actually agitated my endo and I don't believe my doctor really knew enough about endo to treat me properly. My suggestion to you is to buy some books on endo and look into changing your diet. Diet is really the key to everything. Also, try finding a specialist if you can afford it.

I'm seeing a specialist now. And I have had the same surgery before with the same doctor. My pain wasnt like this after my surgery. I didn't have endo pain for a couple months after, But some reason he couldn't treat a lot of it that's why I'm frusterated
