do you know of any US retreats addressing short term memory loss from encephalitis?
Also any feedback on CogMed program. Any other suggestions for memory improvement?

Hi there,

I'm a couple of years post auto-immune encephalitis that they think might've been triggered by skin cancer on my penis, beat that!! ;o)

Anyway, i've kicked off a blog that's going to throw out some of my thoughts, details of the journey etc...

I received Encephalitis 1.5 years ago. It was extreme and has had a great effect on my short term memory abilities and opportunities to uphold full time employment. I do a lot of computer training daily to work on repetition of all and it helps. Otherwise I have to make memory or take notes to remember some short time issues.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
